The dream space you didn’t know you needed! Bright, modern, and huge - flooded with dreamy natural light that makes everything (and everyone) look like a total vision. And here's the clever bit: a soft curtain keeps the ceremony space hidden away until it’s time for that all-eyes-on-you aisle reveal. No room resets. No awkward pauses. Just a seamless flow from vows to fizz.

With the house split cleverly into upstairs/downstairs prep zones, we can catch both partners getting ready without awkward overlaps or last-minute door-slams. It means I can quietly document both sides of the story—the nerves, the laughs, the final touch-ups—without needing to bounce between buildings or kill the vibe.

Also, guests are usually fed pretty well on a wedding day, canapes, 3 courses, an evening buffet. Not all weddings are the same! If you feel like the traditional timeline is too much for you. Try mixing things up! If you don’t want a first dance, or you want to do group shots before your ceremony - that's all totally realistic and do-able!

A lot of outside influence can come from parents, or family members, often those who have already had their wedding day. They think they know best.
But, just remember, this day is not about them.
It is about YOU!! If Auntie Joan from Spain and your 10th cousin are not people you really want to invite. You don’t need permission to say no. The guest list is yours to write! 🎉

1st thing to remember

Yes, yes, yes! Elrick’s gorgeous house is perfect for more than just prep and portraits. After dinner, you can sneak away for a quiet moment, take some fun shots in the lounges, or even freshen up before hitting the dance floor.
There are so many places! The walled garden is a beautiful, secluded spot, or we can head into the woodlands for a more intimate vibe. The house’s exterior and grounds also offer gorgeous backdrops. We’ll have plenty of time for stunning portraits without taking you away from the fun for too long.
No worries! The Barnquee is perfect for indoor ceremonies, and it’s light and airy enough for stunning photos even if the weather’s doing its Scottish thing. Plus, there are plenty of indoor spots for couple and group shots if we need to duck inside.
Definitely! We can have the confetti moment outside the front door for a fabulous entrance after your ceremony. The wide-open spaces and the grand entrance are perfect for those epic shots as you head into your drinks reception.
Yes! If your pup is part of your story, they can absolutely be part of the day too. They can join you for the ceremony and photos—though they won’t be able to stay overnight. But don’t worry, I can recommend a local dog sitter who can take care of them while you celebrate.
