OB-sessed!!! How cute is this trend?! I am totally here for it, no matter how tacky some people may think it is - it's a mahoooosive YES from me!!
Also, guests are usually fed pretty well on a wedding day, canapes, 3 courses, an evening buffet. If you want to keep this cake petite and cute, don't feel like you need a huge one to feed the masses. Enjoy it between the two of you and maybe share a little with family and besties in the morning - that's one way to cure a hangover! Yum!

There’s a hair & makeup room, a dress reveal space, and yep—a hot tub if you fancy a pre-wedding soak. Plus, it’s pet-friendly, so your pup can totally be part of the morning mayhem.
Need more space? South & West Lodge cottages nearby are super cute and ideal for your other half to prep in peace. Or go full Bridgerton with Schivas House—it’s five minutes away and has serious period drama energy.

Word on the street is...
We booked Danielle initially because we loved her style of photos, but also because from the initial video call we had with her we felt so relaxed and instantly knew she would make us feel calm (and also have fun!) during the photos on our wedding day.
She has been in touch throughout the planning process offering advice and checking if there was anything she could do for us and we really feel like we knew her before the wedding which made such a huge difference before and on the day.

Not all weddings are the same! If you feel like the traditional timeline is too much for you. Try mixing things up! If you don’t want a first dance, or you want to do group shots before your ceremony - that's all totally realistic and do-able!
3rd thing to remember
A lot of outside influence can come from parents, or family members, often those who have already had their wedding day. They think they know best.
But, just remember, this day is not about them.
It is about YOU!! If Auntie Joan from Spain and your 10th cousin are not people you really want to invite. You don’t need permission to say no. The guest list is yours to write! 🎉

1st thing to remember

Honestly? A dream. The ceremony room is flooded with natural light, Newton House is bright and airy (aka getting-ready goals), and the upstairs reception space gets a gorgeous soft glow in the evening. It means flattering skin tones, no harsh shadows, and that golden “just married” look all day long.
YES. Just five minutes down the road is Schivas House, which comes with turrets, a walled garden, a pond, and a secret indoor pool (no joke). The grounds are packed with lush, romantic photo ops. Oh, and don’t sleep on the wheat fields nearby - if we time it right, they make the dreamiest, most cinematic portraits.
You’re covered - literally. The indoor ceremony space is a stunner, with exposed stone walls that photograph beautifully. There are also cute, covered corners around the property that work great for couple and group shots. Rain? We make it romantic.
Nothing major, but good to know: the venue includes all the essentials like tables, chairs, fairy lights, easels, even an arch for your ceremony (yep, no extra fees). Just bring the fun, the flowers, and maybe a spare pair of shoes for dancing.
A resounding yes! Dogs are welcome not just at the ceremony, but also in the on-site accommodation. Whether they’re walking you down the aisle or posing for portraits, your four-legged bestie is officially invited.
