Lois and Shaun may not be officially engaged yet, but they totally stole our hearts with their adorable, at-home pancake session! As an Aberdeen engagement photographer, I’m all about capturing those real, intimate moments that show who you are as a couple—and this shoot was exactly that.

Pancakes at Home is perfect for those who might not be into huge PDA moments or who simply love a good breakfast in each other’s company.

Lois and Shaun were naturals in front of the camera. Between the giggles, pancake flipping fails, and cozy cuddles, the shoot felt more like a typical Saturday morning than a photoshoot—and that’s exactly the vibe I’m going for!

Thinking Outside the Box 🧠💡

One of the things I encourage couples to do is think beyond the usual outdoor locations and consider what really makes them feel at ease. Do you love spending time together at home, doing simple day-to-day things? Then why not capture that? This session shows how documenting the more relaxed, personal parts of your relationship can lead to some of the most genuine and meaningful photos.
