Aurora & Ross: A Magical Wedding Day at Logie Country House 💖

There’s something extra special about a wedding at Logie Country House, and Aurora and Ross’s big day was no exception! Nestled in the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside, this stunning venue was the perfect backdrop for a day filled with love, laughter, and so many unforgettable moments. From the final touches of Aurora’s bridal prep to the epic evening celebrations, Logie Country House was the heart of it all.

The morning started with a lot of excitement as Aurora’s bridesmaids helped her into her gown. Watching her gracefully descend the grand staircase to meet her mum and dad for their “first look” was a truly emotional moment. And let me tell you, Logie Country House’s beautiful interiors only added to the magic!

A Sweet Ceremony in Logie Country House’s Stunning Ballroom 💍

Aurora made a bold, untraditional move by asking both her mum and dad to walk her down the aisle, and I was so here for it! Before the ceremony kicked off, we set up a lovely dress reveal on the staircase (a gorgeous feature at Logie Country House), giving her parents their first glimpse of her as a bride. It was such a beautiful, heartfelt moment!

Walking into the ballroom, arm in arm with her parents, Aurora took a brief pause at the bottom of the aisle—just enough time to share a special first look with Ross. The emotions were so real, and it was clear that this was a moment they would treasure forever.

The ceremony itself was short and sweet, exactly as Aurora and Ross had planned. These two couldn’t wait to kick off the celebrations! With Aurora’s infectious giddiness filling the room, you could see that everyone was as excited as the couple. And when your wedding day takes place at Logie Country House, there’s just an extra layer of magic in the air!

Group Photos at Logie Country House’s Beautiful Grounds 📸

When Aurora and Ross booked me, they made one thing clear—they wanted to spend the day partying with their loved ones, not posing for photos. So, after a fun confetti shot (complete with an adorable dip kiss!), we powered through the group shots. Thanks to the expansive and picturesque grounds at Logie Country House, we were able to have fun, quick, and relaxed bridal party photos without wasting any time.

I’m all about keeping things light and fun, and with so much beautiful daylight during their summer wedding, we had plenty of time to capture those must-have shots without taking them away from their guests for too long. For couples like Aurora and Ross, who want to minimize group photo time, I always recommend planning ahead—around 8-10 VIP photos—and letting everyone know ahead of time to keep things running smoothly.

A Quiet Moment Alone at Logie Country House 💑

During the drinks reception, I whisked Aurora and Ross away for a quick stroll around the grounds of Logie Country House. The venue’s mix of stunning architecture and sweeping landscapes made it easy to capture gorgeous, candid moments without taking too much time away from the celebrations. We kept it super simple—just a quick walk through the arches, a cozy snuggle, and then back to the party!

I always make sure to keep these moments light and fun, so couples like Aurora and Ross don’t feel “photo-ed out.” After all, your wedding day is about spending time with your loved ones, not spending hours posing for photos. And with Logie Country House providing such a beautiful setting, it’s easy to snap a few quick, stunning shots that capture the essence of the day.

The Groom’s Surprise Performance & Unforgettable Party 🎤

One of the best moments of the day? When Ross and his groomsmen grabbed the mic for an impromptu karaoke session! The guests went wild, and it turned into an epic, unplanned performance that had everyone on their feet. These are the kind of moments that make a wedding so unique and fun. And when you’re at Logie Country House, with its intimate yet grand atmosphere, these spontaneous moments seem to flow naturally.

I always encourage couples to leave a little wiggle room in their timelines—because sometimes, the best memories are the ones that weren’t on the schedule. Aurora and Ross fully embraced this, and it made for some unforgettable moments!

Golden Hour Portraits at Logie Country House 🌅

As the sun began to set, I whisked Aurora and Ross away one last time to enjoy a quiet moment during the golden hour. With Logie Country House’s breathtaking landscape bathed in soft evening light, it was the perfect setting for a few final portraits. And this time, I did something a little different—I handed the camera over to them!

After a quick tutorial, they each took turns snapping portraits of one another, and the results were beyond adorable. Watching Aurora swoon over Ross as she took his photo, and the way they looked at each other—it was a moment that words can’t fully capture, but luckily, the photos can!

An Evening Reception to Remember 💃🕺

As guests were getting ready for the evening reception, Logie Country House’s ballroom came alive once again with music, laughter, and dancing. The combination of a live band and DJ kept the dance floor packed all night long. Whether it was a dance-off between friends, romantic moments, or shots at the bar, I was right there, capturing every bit of fun!
