Lisa and Paulās City Wedding at The Sandman Hotel was a celebration of love, laughter, and vibrant personalities!
They brought their city-chic vision to life, creating a day that was as bright and infectious as their smiles. From heartfelt moments to a sparkling send-off, letās dive into their magical day!
A Match Made in the City š
Lisa and Paul reached out to me just weeks before their wedding, but from the moment we met, it felt like destiny. Even with limited time, we connected instantly, making their big day feel as seamless and personal as weddings planned years in advance.
The coupleās vibrant personalities shone through in every moment. Their guests were brimming with love for them, and it was impossible not to feel the warmth in the room during the emotional speechesāthere wasnāt a dry eye in sight! The bond Paul has with his brother’s was like no other, it was very emotional hearing them talk about their wonderful upbringing.
Sweet VIP Moments Before the Aisle š
Before walking down the aisle, Lisa wanted to share private moments with her nearest and dearest. She began with a special dress reveal for her mum and bridesmaids, and their reactions were everything youād imagineātears, hugs, and so much love.
Next, Lisa gathered her dad, brother, and grandparents for another emotional reveal. The intimacy of these moments was so special, and you could feel the love radiating in the room. It was the perfect way for Lisa to pause, take it all in, and share heartfelt moments with her VIPs before the ceremony.
The Sandman Hotel: Urban Elegance with a Personal Touch š
The Sandman Hotel was the perfect setting for Lisa and Paulās celebration. With its stylish city vibes, cozy charm, and that fabulous sheltered entrance (perfect for dodging raindrops during group photos), it provided a beautiful and versatile backdrop.
We planned for the Scottish weather (as always!) and took full advantage of the nearby Art Gallery for some laid-back couple portraits. Walking through the city, capturing candid moments under clear dome umbrellas, and sneaking kisses along the way gave their gallery a romantic, urban edge.
Highlights from the Day šø
Lisa and Paulās wedding was packed with memorable moments. Here are a few of our faves:
- Private Dress Reveals: The private moments Lisa shared with her VIPs before walking down the aisle were so touching, filled with love and anticipation. š„°
- Art Gallery Magic:Ā The coupleās quiet moment together at theĀ Art GalleryĀ was a standout. Walking through the city streets in the rain added a beautifully romantic vibe to their portraits. It’s so worth planning some time alone together! š§ļø
- Whiskey Bar Fun: Before hitting the dance floor, Lisa and her besties headed to the whiskey bar for some fun, belting out Taylor Swift songs at full volume and dancing like no one was watching (me included!). It was the perfect way to get hyped for the evening party! š¶š„
- Skipping Traditions:Ā Lisa and Paul kept their day authentic to them, skipping the cake-cutting and heading straight to dancing. The packed dance floor was proof it was the right call! Although they did share a piece of cake before I left, stuffing each others’ faces – which was hilarious! šŖ©
- Bottle Spray Send-Off:Ā Just when we thought the night couldnāt get any better, Lisa and Paul ended the celebrations with a bottle spray photo! It was a sparkling, joyful way to close the day and added an extra touch of fun to their gallery. š¾
