Imagine a sun-soaked day in the heart of the Scottish countryside, with the ancient grandeur of Auchen Castle towering above, nestled in the rolling hills of Moffat. Cata and Liam’s Rustic Scottish Wedding at Auchen Castle was everything you’d expect from a day filled with love, laughter, and some adventurous twists! From Cata’s pooch Ciri proudly walking her down the aisle to guests getting their Robin Hood on with archery, this day was epic! 🎯✨

The whole day felt like one big celebration of the couple’s love for animals, the outdoors, and, of course, each other. Here’s how it all unfolded…

Cata and Liam’s wedding was the perfect mix of rustic Scottish charm and full-blown fun. The day started with an outdoor ceremony (yes, Scotland delivered on the sunshine 🌞), with Auchen Castle providing a jaw-dropping backdrop. But the star of the ceremony? Definitely Ciri, Liam and Cata’s dog, who totally stole the show by walking her down the aisle, tail wagging all the way! 🐾❤️

And just when everyone thought it couldn’t get any cuter, BOOM – surprise! Cata and Liam introduced their newest family member, a puppy named Scout. If that doesn’t scream “wedding day goals,” I don’t know what does.

After their vows and a confetti-filled exit 🎉, things got seriously fun with archery and even sword fighting for the guests. Talk about making your wedding interactive!

Moments that made us ROFL 😂

The bridesmaids’ speech was one for the books. They had flashcards in both Portuguese and English (A lovely nod to Cata’s Portuguese family), getting the whole room to cheer along with perfectly timed cues. It was lovely to see the bridesmaids sharing their stories and love for their bridey Cat.

Oh, and we can’t forget the bridal party photobombing the newly wed’s after-dinner portraits – jumping in front of Cata and Liam during their golden hour shots, making for some hilarious memories! The vibe was super relaxed, and you could see how much fun everyone was having.

Where do I even start? Auchen Castle is seriously one of Scotland’s most stunning venues. The castle itself is majestic, but the surrounding countryside is chef’s kiss. And the fact that it’s so secluded gives the whole day this intimate, fairytale-like feeling. Whether it’s taking portraits by the lake or having a playful moment on the rope swing, the possibilities are endless. Plus, the castle’s staff were absolute pros – everything ran like clockwork!

Dance floor vibes 🎶💃

Oh, and let’s talk about their first dance… with their dogs! Yep, Cata and Liam had Ciri and Scout right there on the dance floor with them for their cake cut and first dance, and it was the cutest thing ever. 🎶🐶 You could just feel the love in the room, and their friends and family didn’t hold back either – the dance floor was packed all night!
